Speaker:

Hello, everyone, and welcome to God Talk with Kim Dee. My name is Kim, and I'm here to talk about topics that are really important in today's

Speaker:

society and what's happening in the world today.

Speaker:

I want to first start off to say that I created a website called God's Proverbs 31 Women.

Speaker:

It's an online dating website where the men pursue the woman.

Speaker:

The woman can't pursue the man, but the man pursues the woman.

Speaker:

And I got the idea and the insight was from God. God had told me, Kim, this is what I want you to do.

Speaker:

This is what I want you to create. I want you to create a website for dating that is about the biblical standards and what

Speaker:

the principles are about relationships and how the man is supposed to seek out his Proverbs 31 woman.

Speaker:

The reason why I based it off of Proverbs 31 woman is because in Proverbs 31 woman,

Speaker:

it gives you instructions and it talks about this woman that is a supporter of her mate.

Speaker:

She is there to do good, but not bad to him. She is there to run the family, to help provide, and to minister.

Speaker:

And so Proverbs 31 is the idea scripture for men to really study, to really see what type

Speaker:

of woman they want in a mate.

Speaker:

One thing that I know that was a big thing to me is that when God was showing me that

Speaker:

the man is the head and the woman is the neck, that means the neck supports the head.

Speaker:

So we're here to support the men and to do them right, but not to do them any harm.

Speaker:

So, Proverbs 31 Women is one of the best scriptures that you could actually look at and study

Speaker:

to see basically a guideline of what type of woman that you want to be your mate.

Speaker:

Because you want a woman that's going to be strong in the things of God, that is a Christian

Speaker:

woman that believes in praying and praying together that has the values

Speaker:

that God has and that she is there to really support you when things happen

Speaker:

because we are here on this earth to do life and to bring glory to God and to

Speaker:

basically preach the gospel and to let people know of the goodness of God. So.

Speaker:

One thing I do want to say, as I said before earlier, is that I started this

Speaker:

online Christian dating website and I am the founder and the president of God's

Speaker:

Proverbs 31 Women. So I'm taking it a step further because now I'm doing a

Speaker:

podcast to let people know and to also share about the concerns that you may

Speaker:

have about a relationship. Like one question may come up, what do I do when this man is, you know,

Speaker:

he's pursuing me, but I just have this feeling inside that he's not the right person, but he

Speaker:

meets all the qualifications. Well, I would suggest you need to go into prayer and you need to fast

Speaker:

and pray and ask God to give you direction. Because just because something looks good

Speaker:

and it could be really good, may not always be good for you. And that's one thing that we all

Speaker:

need to learn is that just because it may look good or feel good, and it may be right, but it.

Speaker:

May not be right to God. And we just need to make sure that we pay attention to what the Holy Spirit

Speaker:

is telling us, because the Holy Spirit is our guidance. That's what happened when God left,

Speaker:

When Jesus went to be with the Father in heaven, He left His comforter, the Holy Spirit,

Speaker:

And when we pray to Him, He gives us the answers and the comfort.

Speaker:

With relationships, it's a lot of work because society tells you different. It tells you to go

Speaker:

ahead and sleep with this person, try it out, see if this person is the right person, you know.

Speaker:

Live with them for a while to make sure you make that commitment. And today, no one even really

Speaker:

does that anymore of getting married as much as it was back in the 90s and the 80s. Now in

Speaker:

in the 21st century, it's like, well, you know what?

Speaker:

I'll live with them.

Speaker:

Why do I need to have a piece of paper? I remember this one lady, she was with this guy,

Speaker:

and I think she's still with him, and they had a baby together, and she goes,

Speaker:

why should I have a marriage certificate?

Speaker:

What for?

Speaker:

We love each other. What does that have to do with anything?

Speaker:

And I was looking at her like, it means a lot, you know? But then again, if you're not a Christian

Speaker:

and you don't understand the biblical principles and you don't understand what God says about marriage,

Speaker:

so guess what's gonna happen?

Speaker:

You're gonna do what you feel that is right.

Speaker:

So it was very difficult to explain it to her because she didn't have a kingdom mind of knowing.

Speaker:

And I didn't judge her, but I prayed for her because I wanted her to know what the truth is.

Speaker:

And the funny thing about it is that her son goes to a Christian school.

Speaker:

And so I was like, wow, Lord, you are, you know, God has a sense of humor. Let me tell you.

Speaker:

And I was thinking to myself, I said, wow, Lord, maybe this will, you know.

Speaker:

Give her some understanding. Maybe her son will bring her to knowing who Christ is.

Speaker:

But everybody has an opinion of what they think relationships should be.

Speaker:

And relationships should be according to, if you are a Christian and you believe

Speaker:

in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, if you believe that God is the

Speaker:

Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and that he is the true God of Israel, then,

Speaker:

you need to follow the biblical principles of what God says about a relationship. If you don't believe and you've been seeking, I'm going to show

Speaker:

you how and tell you how that you can seek out the Lord and allow God to speak

Speaker:

to you to give you the understanding what relationship and marriage means.

Speaker:

Everybody thinks that marriage is like, eh, well, you know, I have security

Speaker:

and he can take care of me, or vice versa.

Speaker:

Oh, she could take care of me. I have somebody to cook for me.

Speaker:

I have somebody to do my laundry.

Speaker:

I have somebody so I can't be alone.

Speaker:

And that's not what a relationship is. We're not supposed to be in relations with somebody

Speaker:

just because of our needs. We should be in a relationship because of what God calls our

Speaker:

relationship to be. It's because you want to enhance that person's life, that you want to

Speaker:

come together and do life because you want to be together to take, you know, to preach the gospel

Speaker:

and to show people about God and to tell people about the Lord and to come into one and to

Speaker:

partnership, that you could help others to come together. That's what relationships is. It's about

Speaker:

God and about the man and the woman coming together and being in fellowship and doing

Speaker:

what God has called them to do for the gospel of Jesus Christ. You know, God is so amazing.

Speaker:

And the one thing is, is that when God left the Word, He goes, here's the Word. He left the Bible.

Speaker:

No matter if you believe in it or if you don't believe in it,

Speaker:

just because you don't believe in the word or you don't believe that the Bible

Speaker:

or you don't believe that God is real doesn't mean that he's not, because he is.

Speaker:

He is real.

Speaker:

And if you give him an opportunity, he will prove himself that he is real.

Speaker:

But when you read the word of God, it's direction and instructions of how to do life.

Speaker:

Because when sin came into this world, It changed the whole concept.

Speaker:

Things and what people are doing because God gave us a free will and you have a

Speaker:

choice whether or not you want to serve Him. You have a choice of whether or not

Speaker:

how you want to do life. You have a choice of whether or not how you want

Speaker:

your relationship to be with Him or with the person that you want to marry. You,

Speaker:

can do whatever you desire because God gives you that will but at the end there

Speaker:

will be a consequence. I'm sorry to tell you but there will be because you chose

Speaker:

not to serve God but you chose to go the other way and God loves us so much that

Speaker:

he died for us 2,000 years ago to make sure that we could fellowship with

Speaker:

him and to build this personal relationship with him. So if God did that What do you think God thinks about relationships with a man and a woman when he brings us together?

Speaker:

If we take the biblical principles and we take what God has created.

Speaker:

Then we will do life well with our spouses Now there may be some of you out there that are single and I don't want to be married and that's fine

Speaker:

but have a relationship with God and to do what he called you to doing and,

Speaker:

And you that don't know the Lord, I pray that you will know the Lord, you know,

Speaker:

that you will know that He is a faithful God and that He is real because God

Speaker:

loves you. No matter what you have done in life, if you go and ask God to forgive

Speaker:

you, God will forgive you. You know the amazing thing about this is, is that God's

Speaker:

love is unbelievable to me because it's like when I fail or if I'm doing something or have I done something that I know that God was not pleased with?

Speaker:

It doesn't say that he doesn't love me or he's just angry with me. He's like, Kim, you need to

Speaker:

pick up your cross and keep going and you need to repent and say sorry for that. And it's like,

Speaker:

you know what, Lord, you're right. I am so sorry. And then God forgives you and he keeps going

Speaker:

and he keeps you going on the right track with him. So with relationship, you have to make sure

Speaker:

that if you want a very good relationship, go to the Word of God. In the first beginning in Genesis,

Speaker:

Genesis talks about relationships. It talks about how God created man and woman. It talks about

Speaker:

what God thought about man and woman and what he wanted man and woman to do to pre-create,

Speaker:

to procreate, excuse me, to bring life, to make this world abundance, and to bring,

Speaker:

you know, generations to generations to generations. You know, it's interesting,

Speaker:

like with Abraham, when God told him, you will have so many generations, as many stars in the

Speaker:

sky. Do you know that there's billions and billions and billions and billions of stars?

Speaker:

So that's generation after generation, after generation, after generation, and I just feel that.

Speaker:

Because of that, you know, God wants us to be in relationship and that just shows me everything about who he is.

Speaker:

So what do you think about relationships?

Speaker:

How do you focus on relationships? What is relationships to you?

Speaker:

Go back and think, is it a motivation?

Speaker:

Because everybody has a motive of why they want to be in relationships.

Speaker:

One is because they want to be sexually active.

Speaker:

Another relationship is they want to be in a relationship because they're lonely.

Speaker:

They don't want to grow old without having somebody to take care of them.

Speaker:

Some people want relationships because they're in control of that person.

Speaker:

There's so many different factors of why people are in relationships.

Speaker:

But the right relationship is the relationship that the Holy Spirit, God himself, will speak,

Speaker:

to you about and to show you.

Speaker:

If you go to scripture and you ask God, because God says to study the word and show yourself approved.

Speaker:

If you go and listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling you and you're reading what the

Speaker:

Holy Spirit is saying, you will understand relationship.

Speaker:

When you have a successful relationship and you are with the Father, God is downloading,

Speaker:

everything about relationships.

Speaker:

He will tell you that is the best way of relationship is how God has it to be. I'm telling you.

Speaker:

You trust the Lord, you read the word, you ask God to give you guidance and have him speak to you and tell you,

Speaker:

what do you want me to do in this relationship?

Speaker:

Listen to what the Spirit of the Lord speaks to your heart about relationships.

Speaker:

I feel and I really believe if people would take out the time and not jump into relationships,

Speaker:

we wouldn't have a high percentage of divorces.

Speaker:

And the percentage is very high with Christian divorces.

Speaker:

I believe that if you allow God to show you and to speak to you,

Speaker:

and you really listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will have a successful relationship.

Speaker:

It takes two to make a relationship, like when you have a relationship with God, it,

Speaker:

takes two because you're there communicating with Him, you're there speaking with Him,

Speaker:

you are talking to Him, and He's telling you, this is how I want you to do life.

Speaker:

But if I'm not speaking to God, how am I supposed to grow and to know the things of the Lord

Speaker:

if I'm not in a personal relationship with the Father.

Speaker:

Well, one thing I can say that I will stand until the day I leave this earth,

Speaker:

is that God is a faithful God and that He is real.

Speaker:

And I know there's a lot will say, no, He's not real. You've just been blindsided.

Speaker:

What's wrong with you? And I'm like, well, go ahead. You know, if that's what you want to think,

Speaker:

I don't, I don't, I don't care.

Speaker:

You know, if that's how you want to do life, then that's how you want to do life.

Speaker:

What God has called me to do is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ,

Speaker:

whether or not you accept it, or if you do accept it.

Speaker:

I'm not here to put God down anybody's throat or to judge anybody, because that's not my place to judge.

Speaker:

The only thing that God says that I have, that I am allowed to judge,

Speaker:

is that God said, you will know that person by their fruit.

Speaker:

So if I see your fruit, and it's not according to what the spirit of the Lord

Speaker:

is saying, or according to what the word says, guess what?

Speaker:

Then I know, but I can't judge your heart because I am not the judge, he is.

Speaker:

But the one thing I can say about the judge is that this judge, God, Jehovah, Ere Jireh, God.

Speaker:

Jehovah Shalom, God. The Most High, the Great I Am. He is fair.

Speaker:

That's why people, well, I don't know, I don't know if I want to be in a relationship with the Father.

Speaker:

How do you know that God is real?

Speaker:

Well, take a look around.

Speaker:

How do you think we got here?

Speaker:

And I'm sorry, some of you out there, sorry to say.

Speaker:

It wasn't evolution. We did not come from a ape. We were created by God.

Speaker:

Yes, sorry to bust your bubble on that, but it's the truth.

Speaker:

We were created by the most high God.

Speaker:

So today I hope that as I talk about relationships and I hope that you're getting something from this,

Speaker:

please contact me at contact at proverbs31women.com.

Speaker:

If you have questions about what I just was talking about, what I'm sharing about, relationships,

Speaker:

I will be coming on a lot because like I said, I'm starting this podcast and I wanted to

Speaker:

talk about relationships.

Speaker:

I wanted to talk about and tap in a little bit about the website called God's Proverbs 31 Women.

Speaker:

It is a website where the men seek out the women and the women cannot seek out the men.

Speaker:

Men. What happens is that the women go on there for free on the website and what,

Speaker:

What they actually will do is that they will set up a profile.

Speaker:

You know, talk about who you are. There's questions that you need to answer and they're very

Speaker:

serious questions. They're about your walk with Christ. And you answer those questions and then

Speaker:

you could create a video and talk about who you are and what you like and what you think.

Speaker:

And then you store it on the website. And then when the man comes on and he looks at that,

Speaker:

He's like, oh, well, I really like her. So he'll send you a message and then he can look at your profile as well as your video.

Speaker:

The women go on there for free, but the men pay because the man is finding their Proverbs 31 woman.

Speaker:

So go on there and check it out. The website is Proverbs31women.com.

Speaker:

And I also have a new app that is on Google Play that you can go on there and

Speaker:

and create your profile and meet people.

Speaker:

And it's a community for those who are really serious about relationships.

Speaker:

So you men that are out there, get on this website and start finding the woman that God has for you.

Speaker:

It's called relationship and coming together as one, as Christ, as the church.

Speaker:

And one thing that's really interesting to me, I speak to you women as well as you men. If you go in, I think it's in Ephesians or Peter, 1 Peter,

Speaker:

when it talks about,

Speaker:

eight things that the man is responsible for in a relationship, and 12, I'm sorry,

Speaker:

and four things that the woman is responsible for.

Speaker:

And one thing that I like that God said, when Jesus says, men, love your wives

Speaker:

as Christ loves the church.

Speaker:

Women, you should want a man that has that love, that he would love you like the way Jesus loves you.

Speaker:

And also when you come together, both you men, both you women,

Speaker:

you have to love God more than you love your spouse because God is the number one,

Speaker:

and he is such a faithful God and he's about relationships and bringing men and women together.

Speaker:

So don't get discouraged.

Speaker:

There is a mate out there for you. There is somebody out there that God has for you.

Speaker:

Be patient and let the Holy Spirit guide you.

Speaker:

Let the Holy Spirit tell you what it's supposed to be. If you are keeping yourself

Speaker:

and you're not sexually active, great.

Speaker:

Keep yourself.

Speaker:

People don't realize this either. When you sleep around and you have not repented,

Speaker:

when you're sleeping with Bob,

Speaker:

and you've been with Larry, Harry, Jerry,

Speaker:

you're bringing all of that in to your relationship.

Speaker:

You don't wanna do that. You want it to be between you and that man and what God has united.

Speaker:

That's what a relationship is.

Speaker:

Amen. So check us out. We'll check out the website. Let me know what you feel

Speaker:

about what I spoke about, about relationships. Know that relationships,

Speaker:

has to do with God. God is the ultimate. If you want to have a good business or,

Speaker:

or you want health, or you want to prosper in your business.

Speaker:

Or at your job, or you are trusting God for anything, go to Him, because God is the one.

Speaker:

He's the one that will provide.

Speaker:

He will provide.

Speaker:

We serve a mighty God. Now, you that are not Christians, I want to pray for you right now.

Speaker:

And I pray that right now, that you would accept the Lord thy God,

Speaker:

that you would know Him and that you would seek Him, because I want you to know that God really loves you.

Speaker:

God created you. God knows you. He knows every hair on your head.

Speaker:

And God has been waiting for you to accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

Speaker:

Trust me, when you accept Him and you come into the fruition about who He is,

Speaker:

He will start teaching you about relationships.

Speaker:

He will teach you how to have a relationship.

Speaker:

When you have a good relationship with God, all your other people and the relationships that you're in

Speaker:

will prosper as well.

Speaker:

But if you have a problem and you're not seeking out the Lord, you're gonna struggle in relationships.

Speaker:

It doesn't matter if you believe in God And it doesn't matter if you don't believe in God.

Speaker:

Relationships are from the Lord, and if you want to have the best relationship,

Speaker:

seek out the Lord thy God, because he is faithful.

Speaker:

So I'm gonna sign off. I will be back again.

Speaker:

And the next topic will be on dating. We're gonna talk about dating

Speaker:

and what to look for in a mate when you're dating.

Speaker:

But I wanted to share about relationships and what God was telling me,

Speaker:

and when he was showing me how relationships are and you need to trust God and seek out the Lord

Speaker:

for relationships and check out again like I said the website is proverbs31women.com,

Speaker:

I hope this podcast has blessed you I pray that God will keep you and I pray that the Holy Spirit

Speaker:

will minister to you, and I pray that all is well with you. Have a blessed day,
